Red

I think I can confidently say that I am not a very good blogger as far as timeline goes. My life right now is a little crazy with trying to finish up homeschooling for Liam's kindergarten year, moving things around in the house, trying to get enough outside time...the list goes on.

Anyway, a couple weeks ago the kids and I did our Little Red Riding Hood session but it comes with a little twist. We decided we wanted to change the story and not do the typical girl goes into woods, big bad wolf finds her...you know the rest. This was a totally different session with my children because they helped come up with the actual story and played it out during our shoot. It was so much fun and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do..

"Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Red. She loved to be in nature and was always sneaking away to the woods to do some exploring. Her favorite part was the fact that she had a secret that she told to absolutely no one. In the woods, where he couldn't be found, lived her friend. A nameless boy who had once frightened her but had now vowed to protect the little girl with his life. You see, he also had a secret and she vowed to keep it for him, safe inside her heart. He wasn't an ordinary boy by any means. Once a month he would see the full moon and turn into a werewolf! But even though he never harmed anyone, he knew that if anyone would find out his secret, they would be determined to destroy him.

So, the little girl would sneak away and bring goodies to her friend and they would talk and play in the safe walls of the forrest..."
